Lehman Caves, Great Basin National Park

Lehman Caves
July 24th -27th
I went out with some of my good friends, Cory, Kendelle, Casey, and Amy
Casey and Amy have been here before and said they love it well it was a blast as i did some research before the trip i found out that it is one of the darkest places in the continental US basically it gets really dark i wish i had a camera we could have taken pictures of the Milky Way
but it was really cool to see how many millions of stars were out there. but enough of that we went for the caves and here they are. The Lehman cave network is a limestone cave it was fun.

so as you can see i took pics with both the flash on and off, i think they both turned out OK i took about 100 pics these were some of the best so as we were leaving the caves i seen this bug it looked cool as you can tell it is a hairy bug.

if you click on this pic you can see that he is eating a fly he caught just after i started taking pics.

our camp was just below 10,000 feet

while we were there we took a hike up to Lexington Arch it is the largest limestone arch it was a short hike it was a blast we got to the arch and then it started to rain on us we got back to the truck and realized that we had a flat tire we had to change the tire in the rain it was fun.
(look at Cory & Kendelle's Blog for the rain pics)

here comes Cory and Casey

well this is the end of the pics i hope you all enjoyed reading about my trip.

Jackson Hole 2008

i like this pic cause i am on the other side of the river with both paddles and no boat it was funny i am just glad i had my camera with me

Well here we are again another year later running the same River this year it was a lot faster and a lot higher it was a little nerve racking when we fell out of the bout on this rapids the currents and eddies were incredibly powerful it was a blast to do this.

the water was very cold if you cant tell by my face

here is a pic of me and Cory just after we both of us fell out on lunch counter and lost our raft

i love this pic we are close to 200 feet from the river on the side of the road walking to the pick up dock

here are some rapids that the boat went through but we did not go through

we were camped at the east table campground it was nice and we had a big spot

here is my little tent it is so cute and cuddly

this is lunch table, big kahuna is very small being buried by all the watter in the river

here is one of the horn arches in Jackson Hole

i took this the last night of the trip i thought it looked cool

this is me with three of my best friends
Teryx, Kendelle, and Cory
